High Resolution Images Not Loading

Many records on the MAM portal are not loading, for example CHRB0005750 and CHRB0005744 for editing records. Not sure why this happens.

The image is not being displayed within the image panel located on the right side of the occurrence editor, right? And only when you are using a Google Chrome browser and the "High Res" image is selected? Your high res images are being delivered into the browser from the mam.ansp.org server without a SSL certificate (http://mam.ansp.org/image/CHRB/Fullsize/0005/CHRB0005750.jpg), while portal editor is delivered via a secure connection (e.g. https://midatlanticherbaria.org). Note the https prefix on the portal and only a http prefix on your image URL. Google Chrome browser considers your image to be an unsecure element within a secure website, and thus blocks it's display. You can solve this issue by doing one of the following:

1. Make your images secure by installing an SSL certificate on your images server (mam.ansp.org). This is the preferred fix.
2. Adjust your browsers security setting (via lock symbol located within your browser's address bar)
3. Only select the medium res image (may need to refresh browser after changing)
4. Switch to using Firefox browser

Ed, Thanks, we had gotten it to work previously with the change in security settings, but even when insure content is allowed, the images won’t show now. They open in a new tab even thought they’re showing the insecure content icon in the url bar. I will reach out to MAM about the server SSL certificate and we can use Firefox as an alternative solution as well! Regards, Megan
