Trying to run init, but failed by error unable to get local issuer certificate
Please see below

$ npx graphql-codegen init

Any idea how to deal with this?

If you are having a non-trivial network setup, we can't take that under consideration with the init command. You can just skip it, it's really not needed. It's just a helper tool for creating the initial config file.
