Getting metadata only

Hello, I found your library project basically searching for things like "send Android music track info to serial" and similar. May I ask, before I get too excited here, can I get just a metadata, without "stealing" audio stream from Android? Thank You in advance!
To imagine a situation, I have built a Hi-Fi component where player is actually an Android phone. I would like to get song data displayed on my other project, Arduino scrolling text LED matrixes (works well for PC music playing cases).

Not with this library and I am not sure if this is supported by the ESP32 avrcp api
