Hi, I’m Brianna (Breezy) 👋

Deployment Status

I’m an Honours Cybersecurity student at Deakin University with a WAM of 93 and a 2024 grade average of 96.8. My research focuses on developing a mathematical framework for optical x-haul networks to support reconfigurable 6G networks using O-RAN technology.

🎓 Awards and Achievements

  • Deakin Scholarship for Excellence for both my Bachelors and my Honours
  • Associate Dean Summer Research Scholarship (2023/2024 and in 2024/2025)
  • First dual-feature in the Deakin Maths Yearbook for Cryptography and Quantum Computing reports. First to feature 2 years in a row with my third report on optical xhaul networks.
  • Perfect grades in Capstone A and B for leadership in SplashKit tutorials.
  • Accepted paper at OFC 2025 on optical xhaul network design.

💻 Key Projects

  • Research on O-RAN and 6G resource allocation.
  • Created guides on cryptography, quantum cryptography, and computer networks with tutorials and Python examples.
  • Core contributions to SplashKit and Thoth Tech.

📚 Skills

  • Programming: Python, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, LaTeX
  • Tools: Git, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Raspberry Pi, Linux (Ubuntu, Arch)
  • Research: Telecommunications, computational mathematics, discrete mathematics

📖 Current Focus

I’m currently:

  • Preparing a survey paper on reconfigurable RAN for Beyond 5G for IEEE.
  • Working on my honours thesis on optical x-haul network design for 6G networks.
  • Preparing new papers on my research in telecommunication networks.
  • Refining a network optimisation framework to solve large-scale telecommunication problems.
