Sendo - Your Global Chat Hub

Installation

To run Sendo locally,

  • clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/manavsiddharthgupta/sendo.git
  • go to the project directory(backend)
cd backend
  • install dependencies
npm install
  • add .env file with the following variables
DATABASE_URL=** your database url **
GOOGLE_CLIENT_ID=** your google client id **
GOOGLE_CLIENT_SECRET=** your google client secret **
JWT_SECRET=** your jwt secret **
  • Run the migrations:
npx prisma migrate dev --name init
  • run the server
npm run start
  • go to the project directory(Frontend)
cd ../frontend
  • install dependencies
npm install
  • run the app
npm run start

This is a React.js project bootstrapped with create-react-app.

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

My GraphQL Playground is running at http://localhost:4000/graphql

You can start contributing to the project by creating a new branch and making a pull request.
